Accountants in Action is headed up by Roy Mandy, who completed a BComm Accounting degree at the University of Port Elizabeth.  Roy articled at Douglas Stein in Port Elizabeth and at Arthur Young in Windhoek. Later, he became a Senior Articled Clerk at Price Waterhouse Coopers where he handled medium to large size audits, analysis and implementation of financial controls and the compilation of annual financial statements. 

After moving away from audit firms, Roy was responsible for financial management in medical and fast moving consumable goods companies. He then started his own agency in Namibia, which he sold 5 years later before heading up manufacturing and installation concerns dealing with paving and fencing.  Roy has also been involved in financial planning for the past 5 years. 

Apart from his knowledge of accounting, tax and finance, Roy’s business experience over the past 25 years means that he is an accountant who will add value to a business, rather than just balancing its books.
